Rodney refuses to leave John behind.

 

A mission of diplomacy goes wrong; aka John and Rodney walk into an ambush on P5X-066. They are led to a Genii prison ruled by none other than Commander Kolya. Not before long he's got John shackled then hoisted up to be tortured. And the actual lifting? It lies in the hands of Rodney. So too in his heart. That which everyone has always underestimated. For when next the whip cracks, it lays open more than skin and bones, because it also exposes their truth. How they've secretly fallen in love and it took them until here to admit it.
